stinky x pipe/install hi-flow cats on an after market x-pipe

my car has a nasty exhaust smell ,has anyone installed hi flow cats on their aftermarket x-pipe,if so what brand?i need to stay reasonable since kid #2 on the way!!!oh yeah does the smg pump have to be reinstalled too?thanks

when i first got my bbk x pipe w/ cats, it smelled pretty bad. i think it just may be a break in phase as it went away in like a month.

My catted bbk z pipe has a that sullfer/rotten egg smell once in awhile but is going away.I've had it for about a month.

I think he has an O/R X-pipe and dosent like the exhaust smell and wants to know if aftermarket hi-flow cats can be installed on an o/r pipe without reconnecting the smog pump.

Oh,maybe I should read better.I had an off road pipe on mine when I bought it and my eyes watered when I drove it from the smell.I bought a catted bbk x pipe and now that smell is gone and I have the occassional sulfer smell,much better than the stinging exhaust smell.
