Stock intakes and stuff (help)

I am new to this and bought a Mustang that was being upgraded from a 2.3 to a 5.0. I am going to use this 5.0 motor in my Falcon. What I have is a bunch of different parts and was wondering if anyone knew of a place to look up part numbers? I think I have 3 lower intakes, all have the same numbers on them. I have 4 uppers, one is an E7, the other is an F0, one on the engine (I have to get part #) and one is still on a 91 Crown vic motor. I also have 4 throttle bodies. Two of them are larger and are a straight tube past the butterfly. One has a raised radius in front of the butterfly and the other is the 91. I am going to try this stock to start off with and am trying to use the best of the used parts. I would guess bigger is better. The throttle bodies are a no brainer. but I was wondering why the one is so much smaller. And how can I tell what manifold I should use? I might do a cam and head upgrade before I put it in. The short block has been rebuilt but never run. Any answers or ideas is greatly appreciated. The car is going to be a 63 Falcon sprint 5.0 EFI 5 speed.

E=80's
6=86
7=87
8=88 and so forth

F=90's

86 5.0 Mustangs had crap for parts. I own one. Smaller upper intake. E6 heads. Smaller TB.

Non mustangs.... Crown Vics, T-Birds, Town Cars, Cougars....reportedly had non-HO engines. If they did get a HO engine....it was usually the 86 version until the crappy parts, ran out a few years later.
 
Also worth mentioning the size of the Throttle bodies:

1986 - 1988 TB opening was 58mm
1989 - 1993 TB opening was 60mm

An H.O. upper intake will have H.O. Stamped undermeath the plaque where the air enters the intake. I'll see if I have one laying in my garage when I get home and take a photo for you.

Thanks, pictures would help. Ill get a couple also. The small one seems a lot smaller. They are setup for the right side of the car so I think they are Mustang ones.

Yup. www.mustanggt.org They list all of the mechanical changes in their year by year section. The GT cars are mechanically identical to the LX cars so all of the information is applicable.

Neil: When I get home, I'll see if I can find some pictures. Can you get a milimeter scale to measure the size of the openings? If all you have is one in inches, it's 25.4mm = 1.00". Also TMOSS has a tech article about converting the throttle linkage from the 65mm explorer TB to a mustang setup. www.tmoss.com There are a couple more sites that I am sure have it, but those links are all saved at home.

According to that site 1987 and up are 60mm.

The 5.0L,EFI base engines came with a 50mm throttle body,that must be the really small looking one you have there.

87 and up 5.0L Mustang throttle bodies were 60mm.

87 and up 5.0L Mustang upper intakes were a little better than the 86`.The lowers are the same,although different suppliers were used to make the castings.
