Stock Rims - max tire sizes

Just wondering how big can I get my tires in the rear without rubbing on my stock rims? I want something that will look fat in the back? Thanks guys!

I know 275 BFG Dr's will fit and it looks REAL fat under there then.

275s on a 17x8 wheel may be a little overkill.. while it may work, there will be a lot of tire bulge. The largest I would put on that wheel is a 255 but thats just me

Many people have done 275's but nearly all tire companies recomend a 9" wide wheel for a tire that wide. You dont get the big flat footprint with the 8" rim. I would say go with a 255/45 or get a wider rim.

275's on stockers, front and back.
It looks wider than stock, but if you have the money i would go with a larger rim and get some 315's. Those look sweet.

275/40 17 that is what i have on the rear on the stock rim

another vote for 275/40s. they keep the rims safe too since they stick out a bit.
