Stockl LS1 Camaro Running 12.8s???

It has been done in a stock 6 speed car but not by a stock auto and he certainily didnt drop hardly anything with either of those mods. Filter by itself = almost useless without a lid or free ram air mod, flowmaster muffler is garbage. If he ran 13.3's before, he still runs 13.3's now more than likely.
 
The stock record is held by a 6 speed car and there is usually a pretty good difference between the 6 speed and auto stock. Now a converter or gear in the auto throws all of that out the window. A Lid and a catback is alot different than just a filter and a flowsmasher muffler.

If by awesome you mean pretty weak, then sure lol. It's a 4L60E they have been using since 94 in the F-Bodys. Like any auto, with a converter and gear it can run faster ET's than a stick car but stock for stock it's a bit slower.

He's actually trying to sell his car so he can buy an '03 Cobra but def doesnt deserve one.....i give him two weeks with an 03 cobra before he raps it around a tree :bang: he drives like an a$$hole..
 
an LS1 could do that :bang: , they get power out of miner mods, am not sure about the 12.8s, but i know that a stock AOD LS1 with catbacks and a air duction mod took out a 05 mustang. :bang:

with a dynojet or a programer, they could be sutup to make better firmer shifts on that stock AOD, and with 3.73 they get off the edge, I HATE LS1 :bang: because how powerful they are and can be after mods.. i dont see it very strange for an LS! to do that with such mods...:scratch:

LS1s don't have AOD's. :rolleyes:

Well since this car didnt have 3.73's or a catback mentioned it's pretty strange. Especially considering it ran 13.3's before. The LS1 stock RECORD is a 6 speed and ran a 12.7.

What would a dynojet do to make power? ;)
