I have a TFS1 i need to store for a few months to maybe longer than a year.

I was thinking of coating it in assembly lube, bagging it up and sealing it and wrapping it in towels. Should be good right?

Anything to keep it greasy should be good. My old Explorer cam has been laying out in the open in my basement for a couple of years with no rust forming.

I had a stock HO cam sitting on the desk of my office that has rusted up in months.

cover it in assembly lube, wrap it in plastic and stash it somewhere where the lobes won't get nicked and call it a day, that's what i did with my custom cam when i stored it for about 6 months

i just wrap them in trash bags and call it a day. never had one rust on me.

Oil or assembly lube, vacuum seal it, and store it.
