straight duels or h pipe?

did some research and cant find the answer that im looking for. i currently have two flowmaster 40's split off the factory y pipe, what is better for sound i want loud and obnoxious dont care if it sound ricey or euro just want loud with the cats on.will two straight pipes coming off the cats to the mufflers or an h-pipe be better? getting my y-pipes cut off on thursday and exhaust shop wants to know if i want straight or an h-pipe. dont want to change mufflers either and x is out too expensive. any help would be great.

Straight pipes and dump it right after the muffler, no pipes or tips. High Flow cats will get you more sound also.

had it dumped and loved it, but the local police didnt lol. its gota be legal, hi flows are in the near future i just want to know which will give more sound straight or an h

you lose a lot of torque when you elimate the midpipe.. but straights sound awesome.

I had an H-pipe built for mine with turbo tubes. It doesn't sound ricey, but more throaty. I like the sound alot, for my daily it's great. You'd definitely loose the back pressure needed if you went straight duals. The h-pipe I've got was super easy to make. I can tell you how they did it if you want. The turbo tubes are cheap and they're great if you have clearance issues. They're still street legal too, just not as loud as I think you want. Dump-offs are in your ballpark I think. Really loud..., not my cup o' tea, but if that's what you like,....

well i went with straight duels and man does it sound awesome, and it gets up goes alot better now. thanks for all the input

A screwdriver, a hammer and your mufflers will take care of that nicely

go with the h pipe and even though x pipes are a lil more a the pricey end i would just make 1
