Stripping my Intake

Im taking some high heat paint off my Cobra upper intake and the strippers doing ok , but its a bit scrapped up and i havent even sanded it yet Should i just clear over the scratched surface ? I want to have it The stock silver again and Idea's? Thanks I also hope this is the right thread for this. If not i Apologize.

If you go to Autozone or Pep Boys they sell some pretty wicked stuff called Aircraft Stripper. It'll take about anything off.

Or your skin, and make sure you wear safety glasses, that stuff really is wicked. Got a light flick of it in my eye once when using a wire brush and I immediatly flushed my eye for 45 minutes. Didn't do anything that I can tell but it sure was painful!

yeah...no kidding...i stepped in it...ill never walk bare foor in the garage again...

Oven cleaner will work too! Let it sit a bit and use a non metal bristle brush on it.

As should be done with any cleaning product! I wouldn't use either indoors if it were me.

If you have scratches on it and have to sand it, may as well polish it
