stud or ped mount rocker arms?

I'm looking into aluminum heads and was wondering what the advantage of stud mount over ped mount is? ive tried searching but cant get a straight answer.

Stud mount rockers have a greater range of adjustment and can be used with both hydraulic and mechanical (solid) lifter cams. They require a different adjustment technique than pedistal mount rockers, and can be slightly more difficult to adjust.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but the studs used for a stud mount are a larger diameter than the ones for pedestal mount so studs are a lot stronger.

My friend has a set of TW heads that he would part with. Theyre brand new in the box. Hes in college point

I would run the stud.. MUCH stronger.. less drivetrain deflection for sure.

With stud mount you can also sport stud girdles to stiffen up the valve train a bit.

Studs are stronger and in my opinion easier to adjust. Nearly all aftermarket heads are available with stud mount rockers, but much fewer have the option of pedestal. If you cant get heads that take studs, the they're probably high-end race parts(like Yates) that take rail rockers.
