Some of you guys know that I've been piecing together a supercharger kit, and I finally have everything to complete the install for the most part now (still need some misc. parts, but I should be able to move the car under its own power again, after today). The problem I'm encountering is with the silicone sleeve to attach the discharge tube to the throttle body. The one that came with the discharge assembly I ordered doesn't fit and it won't stretch enough to fit either. Could I use one of the flexible PVC fittings from my local Lowe's store? I was looking at something like this, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than ordering a silicone one. I guess my concern is whether it will withstand the underhood temperatures? Thanks guys!
