i just bought some subframe connector. should i weld them or bolt them. they were suppose to be custom made for my conv. but i didnt know if it was something i could do my self or not. also if i need to weld them how should i go about keeping them from rusting cause ill be pissed if they start rustin bad.

Weld them in. A firend of mine bolted his in and the holes look like ovals now. This is the same friend who had cracks in the a pillars(top of the windshield). I guess he got the front tires off the ground one too many times.

I take it these bolt to the seat bolt right? If so, bolt them in tight, and then weld. Finally paint.

After 24 hours, spray a can of Rust preventive oil on the subframes. Depending on how often you drive the car in the rain, re-spray them with the rust proofing oil every once in a while. If it's dry where you are, twice a year is all that's necessary. More so if it rains more often.
