I have an 00 GT vert, and just had the full length subframe connectors welded in, and man what a difference. I noticed a big difference when I put in the rollbar, but this is even better.

Now, my question, will the Strut-Tower brace make a big difference as well?

It isnt gonna be as big a difference and the subs, but on these flexy verts you need all you can get and I know I took mine of while I was doing some work, figured I would take it for a spin to see how it reacted and WOW! It was worse than I expected

SFC are def. one of my upcoming mods this summer. I hear they make a huge difference and stiffen the car up. Have you tried launching the car after installing them? Any difference?
Also, i've heard people say that SFC's have gotten rid of some of their rattling and squeaking noises. Did anyone here experience that?

funny, but you obviously havent riddin in one with and without. I know you are the guru for suspension and I respect that but I have first hand experience on this and it is contrary to what you are saying. body roll sux without it in a vert end of story.

I agree that every little bit helps on a vert, and if it reduces the cowl shake it's worth it, but I remember reading an article that ford engineers determined that the stb was more for looks than structural stability and that was why they don't put them on.

the STB will not help near as much as the F/L SFC's. i speak from experience. the subs were night and day. with the STB, i could tell a difference, and it did help a good deal for the front end since there isnt a lot of aftermarket to stiffen the front of our cars. however, i seemed to me that with the additional stiffening in the front, the rear seemed less stable. i was thinking all the flex that would have been in the front of the car was transfered to the rear, where there is less structural integrity

EDIT:i bought the STB from STEEDA for $110. install was $60. it was def worth $170.

What brand? Whered you get them?

Im looking to get some for my 00 gt vert too, wanted to know what people with similar cars have....

Ah, but that's because you don't have a vert...makes a big difference when you have no roof... :)

I'm guessing that the rollbar stiffens the back end (kind of like a strut tower brace for the back). so the front stiffening should work just as well.
