I have a few questions.Right now i have 19 lbs inj's. OK, the max injectors i can run is 30lb due to my mass air sensor, now i want to add a supercharger will 30's and say an fmu work? If i bought one of those vorteq kits that includes the fmu, could i make it work with my 19's,,,i know its designed to go on a stock motor, and i bet mine needs a bit more fuel?. thanks

I ran an FMU with 8:1 calibration, and 30# injectors, and ran PIG RICH with the mods in my sig. (stock heads..RWHP around 380)

The stuff came used off a car making 425 to the wheels. If you dont want to spend money on the MAM calib. you can get a chip (or TwEECer) to make 42's work with the stock MAF.

Pretty much most of the time you put on a S/C you need bigger then stock #19 injectors and the stock fuel pump. Im running #30LB injectors and an FMU but Im pretty sure its running rich w/ it so I should be able to take it off and get it tunned w/ out the FMU on it. You prob can get alway w/ running the #19's w/ the FMU but if you have a C&L then just get a diffrent sample tube and upgrade your injectors.

yeah that was my question, because vortech kits come with an fmu that is designed for stock injectors. I have some mods, so what im saying is that that kit may not supply enough fuel for his motor. I wonder with a s/c and a combo like mine, would just 30's be enough? how much hp can they handle?

ok i just read that 30lbs are good for around 450hp. My reasoning is that they would be enough and i could forget about an fmu.
That I believe is Fly HP, and at MAX capacity (you want them around 80%)

My car with 30's and NO FMU dynoed 389 to the wheels, but they had to shut it down at that point because the AFR hit 13 :notnice:

NO WAY can you use 30's and NO FMU with 450 RWHP!
