question i have 85 mustang with a paxton 1200 supercharger i noticed when driving on the high way i get no boost or very low boost maybe 1 pound or 2 but when i let off the gas i get 4 pounds or 5 pounds of boost why does this seem like the charger is working backwards please email me or post here if you can help me out blockheadbullys@hotmail.com

Turbos are still stress on the engine, but you will be fine as long as you keep it under 450whp with a rich tune (11.5 AFR). A turbo kit plus tune would probably cost around 7-10 grand. Unless you do all the work yourself. Make sure if you get a power adder, you have enough back up money for a new engine/tranny. Stuff happens and you NEED to have extra cash laying around if something goes wrong. You gotta pay to play!
i think ima just save up for a 03/04 cobra i mean im going to spend around 5000 for a supercharger then i could just save up another 5000 and just trade in my stang with trade in value of 9-10g and then im just finaince the rest for like 2 yrs....
