I recently purchased a 1993 Mustang GT and was wondering what size supercharger I should go with. The car currently has 10.5/1 compression. It has aluminum heads, BBK long tube headers, Flowmaster exhaust, F303 cam, edelbrock intake, 70mm throttle body and a few other things. What is the cheapest way to produce relatively big power.

you are very limited with that compression ratio. You can do it, but the tune better be spot on and the boost limited and some sort of aftercooler or inter cooler, or even methanol.

I was told that I could run a 8-10 psi vortech and the stock block would hold up. Any1 have any problems with splitting a block? And if I stay clear of a supercharger are there any other ways to produce roughly 400rwhp?

block is not the problem at 400hp level, but with too high compression + boost you're not going to be able to keep a headgasket. with that cr, i would forget the supercharger and focus on maximizing the rest of your combo. or, swap the pistons for dished ones and go the with the sc. :D
