i got the hell out. hopefully everyone did and are all safe. my house and stuff was good through the hurricane, now if it can survive the looters and thugs of new orleans i might be ok. the people are just burning down everything they break into, steeling and killing like they are in a 3rd world country. it has made me decide to move out asap!!!!!!!! i am going to try to relocate to a better place now. just glad my family is ok.

Smart move evacuating, and smart move #2 relocating. I can imagine that there will be many folks leaving the Big Easy for good.

Well, I'm glad that you are OK. Cant say so much for my uncle though. He lost one of his houses. My 93 year old step-great aunt lost her house too.

We made out OK...just got power back today. All I lost was the roof of my shed. Much better than alot of people south of me.
