My car is currently having traction issues and this winter I am building a bigger motor. I am getting prob a dss block with afr heads and kicking up the boost to 12-15 psi.

I am running 275 kuhmo mx's now. I have 275 nitto dr sitting in my garage. My question is what springs should I use. The previous owner said the springs on it where fms lowering springs and the car hooks worse then stock. The springs are really stiff. He gave me the stock cobra springs with the car. The car also has adj agx shocks, how should I adjust these for launching?

What springs would be good for a street car, that needs to launch. I will most likely never take this car to the track just a night/weekend cruiser.

First thing you want to do is put the Nitto's on there. Adjust the front shocks as soft as you can go and the rear real firm. Disconnect the front swaybar. Stock springs in the front maby, but I think it won't matter that much unless you get 4 banger or drag front springs.

The Cobra springs are very similar to the 4cyl springs, you will have better success with them. You may find an airbag to be a good help in the passenger side spring.
