I got a great deal on a set of slightly used(15K miles-no rain or snow)MACs(#TK2546)in awesome shape(guy polished the entire muffler and pipe every so often)and decided to give them a try. I'm glad I did as they aren't quite as loud, but very close! They are much deeper sounding and the overall tone is much better than the Flows. I really like the slashcut tips as they flow with the contour of the bumper quite nicely. The only thing I dislike about them is they are all shiny That is so not my style. Since I'm going to keep them on, I will rough the muffler body up and paint them with high temp black paint so they will be hidden as the Flows were.

This is them, not MAC's pictures

Very nice.

I am planning on ordering a mid pipe soon and was wondering if the mac's were better than flows. It was between the two for me as I have heard the flows in person but not the mac's but from everything I have read, more than one person has done this swap and never looked back. "Sounds" like Mac's are the way to go.

Why ruin such a beautiful finish I think the MAC's have one of the best tones for our cars. Now that I've been used to them for some time now I need them to get louder with some longtubes eventually!

I have Magnaflow axlebacks, which are very shiny too, and I love that look.

OMG do they drone around 1500-1800 RPM in the higher gears Oh well! Otherwise they are so much better sounding than the Flows. I will get sound clips today as I will be out and about with my camera and camcorder for a Stang cruise to a car show

there's countless clips on youtube, brenspeed, and the thread here of MACs with a Pypes H....

So they drone real bad? How much drone did the flows have?

Would you be interested in selling the flows?

Here is some video I compiled yesterday. It has windows down and up footage(you will see when I put them up). I will try and get some video from outside the car today.

mine gets real raspy around 2500 depending how hard I am on the throttle, quite easy to keep quiet if you'd like but that's never fun
