I was thinking about swapping the 3.55's i've got in my GT out for a set of 3.73's? Would it even be worth doing it? I mean would it be a noticeable difference? I even considered going with 3.90's but who's a reputable manufacturer of 3.90's? 4.10's are out of the question for me. Thanks for any help you guys can offer.

I've got 3.55s and love it.

Of course, I do a lot of Interstate and highway travel, so it is almost necessary. The upside is that I can actually accelerate in 5th gear a decent amount.

I recently switched from 3.55's to 3.73's and my mpg actually went up. I guess because I don't have to use the throttle as much to get going, but I went from about 17-18 to about 19-20 now. I can't feel that much difference really, except now my cruising speed isn't in the "drone zone".
