So im tired of my dynomax, they sound great but they just arent quite loud enough for me, i want something a little louder and more aggressive sounding, the dynomax sound great but i just need more

Anyway i know ill get flamed for switchin to flowmaster because EVERYONE has them, but you really cant beat that sound, i love that chambered muffler sound and i found a good deal on a couple of used 2 chamber mufflers so im gonna bite

before I got my LMIIs i was considering flowmasters. Like you said theres a reason why everyone has them, they sound good. I will probally try them out down the road. :D

That's loud? My 'Packs and Bassani catted X blow that out of the water.

If loud was the most important thing to everyone, we would all be running SLP LMI's with an o/r x, but I like my current combo: Flowmaster Super40's with mac o/r h. Its loud enough that it does cause an inconveniece on occassion, and at one time almost got me a citation for racing cause the cop thought I was racing my buddy because mine was making so much noise, and he was doing 60-something in a 35. So yea, flows are plenty loud.

Dynomax! Jebus, i would never buy that crap. Whenever I hear that name i think of some cheap exhaust NAPA would make or something. With a stupid slogan like "premium exhaust for premium customers!" or some BS like that.... its like: yeah ok buddy get outta here I'll stay with the trusted -NAME- brand stuff thanks :rlaugh:

:stupid: that car is quiet as hell! (sounds good though). My SLP is louder at idle than that thing is at WOT :p

I must admit if I had to do exhaust again, I'd be VERY tempted to get a MAC Catted Pro-chamber with Flowmaster 40s....even though im in LOVE with the sound, fit and finish of my SLP :hail2:

I really think a prochamber and flowmaster would sound great though.

EDIT:
This is the video that SOLD me on getting my SLP exhaust :hail2: :D :D :D :D :D :hail2:

....I JUST UPLOADED THE VIDEO, IT MAY TAKE A WHILE TO APPEAR.

Is there anywhere in this thread I said my old combo was loud? Nope....I just said it sounded badass IMHO. I know chambered aren't the loudest option.

But we all know videos do not do things justice...it sounded louder in real life, and never popped like it did in the video in normal driving conditions. The main thing that was "loud" was the fact that it was very deep, and with anything that has a deep tone, it travels very far.

**EDIT** I'm about to have a whiney cry baby moment about how much I miss my stang after listening to that video and even thinking about how awesome all aftermarket exhaust sounds on stangs!!!

I agree with your statement about how all after market exhaust sounds damn good on the 4.6.

flowmasters sound killer at idle and low rpm .... but at 2k rpm the drone from
hell starts up until 2.5 k rpm..... after that no problem, sounds good.........
but the drone is not worth it, Magna flows sound way better but not as loud.
