Alldata DIY website sez the Syncromesh from GM should only be used in the 3650, not recommended for the T45. Royal Purple is the only way to go. Worth the $$$$.
Ok I picked up rp atf max and they had another bottle like senchromax (recomended for ma nual trannies that require atf) it said smother shifting ect ect. Well i think im going to take the atf max back for this stuff.

Hummmm, Alldata DIY sounds to have made a mis-print or typo on that info, Tremec themselves says NOT to use GM Syncromesh in the 3650 because that fluid will cause the syncronizers to swell and ruin them.

I changed mine yesterday, an easy/no mess, way to do it is to take out both plugs, drain it, install botom plug. then I take the shifter off and fill in the shifter hole. At the 4th qt. i pour really slow untill i see/hear a trickle runing into the catch pan. then button up the shifter, install fill plug and good to go.
i'd wait a couple days at least before doing any quick shifting. the fluid needs to work its way into the gears and syncros. when i changed my fluid on the T-45 it ground for a while if i quick shifted, now its smooth as silk
