t-45 needs rebuild recomendations?

so i think i pretty much already hurt the t-45 in my car,needs to be rebuilt but i can probly just get by replacing the syincros (hey no one said i was good a spelling),
next year im gonna upgrade to a t-56,any one recomend any trans shops in the seattle area that are inexpensive,all the quotes i have gotten threew my work are way over priced, i am contemplating on trying to rebuild it my self,it doesnt like going in to 2nd and 4th that well sifter is rough going in those gears,

I had Bill Erickson build me a Astro T-5 this winter that won't break. It was expensive, but I didn't take any short cuts. I asked him what happens if I break it, he said he would love to see one broken! and he would fix it.

Anyways, he will suggest that you fix it right, and suggest that it will happen again it you beat on your T-45, but I guarantee he won't sell you anything you don't need or screw anyone over.

You'll have to search for the number on here, he just runs a small shop in his garage. I'll look for it when I get back in time.

yeah first im gonna try taking out the redline d4 atf out and put normal trans fluid in,
it got worse after the fluid change,oh well there goes $40.

if i remember right you want to use syncromesh fluid in it. peace

trans fluid is changed used normal atf and it seems to be alot better still a little iffy,
i hope it will hang on till next year when i can afford to do the t-56 swap,
