My car has just in the last week started making a consistant sqeeking/grinding sound that is always there when the clutch is out wether in neutral or in gear, and when clutch is fully pressed the sound comes back but with a lower sound (not so high putched) however if i just put a small amount of pressure on the clutch pedal (enough to press the T/O bearing upto the pressure plate) then the sound goes a away mostly. tonight i got in and started it and now i can almost hear the ball bearings rolling and they dont sound good. i dont understand why its getting like this, the T/O bearing was replaced in april and has less than 8k miles on it. Is it still saveable ( can i grease or oil it from the acess hole?) or is it pretty much toast and now i gotta pull it all back apart for $15 dollar part that failed??
thank you,

It's definitely your TOB squeaking. Maybe it wasn't installed correctly.
But from what I've heard, they still will last quite a while even when they slightly squeak. But if you're hearing a grinding noise as well, it might just be that you got lucky and got a bad part. I would check into it if it's grinding.
