T5 Swap Question... Please Help

Can anyone show me a pic of the T5 tranny harness or describe it/where it goes. Will an 83 GT 5-speed have the tranny harness that i need?

I basically finished everything up, except the tranny harness, but the car wont start. I plugged in the nuetral safety switch on the pedal assembly, and all that is connected properly to my knowledge, but the car still wont start. Will the lack of the tranny harness cause the car not to start? I thought it was only for the reverse lights...

I know the car starts and runs fine because i started it up by bypassing the silonoid. It just wont start with the key.

My advice depends on whether the 83 stangs had a parking/neutral safety switch wired into the harness. Assuming they do, you should find 2 sets of wires bundled together under the car, 1 pair for the reverse lights, and one pair for the neutral/parking safety switch. The latter pair of wires need to be connected together in order for the ECU to allow the car to start. Also, on my 92, there were 2 sets of neutral switch connectors on the left of the pedals, and one for the cruise control on the right. Hope this helps.
