T5???

I was wondering. Can you unbolt the trans from the bell housing wile the bell housing is stll bolted to the motor. Basically what I am saying is my buddy has a fox with a T5 in it and it grinds in to second thrid and reverse so we might put a new T5 in it. So we were wondering if we could just unbolt the trans from the bell housing while it is still in the car because we dont want to deal with the bell housing and clutch and what not. If any one has any input that would be great.

yeah, its alot easier to do it that way..the top two bolts can be a pain sometimes though

if your like me you have to do it that way, my BBK longtubes wont let me take out the bellhousing without turning it sideways and pulling it out by itself. And like the others said, this way will save you alot of time and hassel.
