tach w/ shift light

so after goin to the track today me and a few buddies of mine that went decided we are goin every weekend. the one thing that would have come in handy today besides more power and driving ability, would have been a big tach and shift light so i didnt have to try to see under my hand and the steering wheel. whats a good basic setup with just the tach and shift light. and easy to hook up and adjust where the shift light comes on.

I run a 5" autogauge tach with a shift light attatched. I mounted it on a upr tach bracket. Poney express carries the best tach adapters around in my opinion. Very detailed, easy to follow directions. check them out a www.ponyexpressperformance.com

Yup the track can be very addictive .

I have a Raptor shift light discreetly placed in my center a/c vent. Works GREAT. It's the light only though.

Yeah it will come in handy.I put the autometer shiftlite only,no tach.

so i need to buy the autometer tach and light with universal mount for the dash, and then a tach adapter. is that all i need to hook it up and be able to adjust the shift light?
