Tachometer in clock pod's place?

Just wondering if anyone has done this, place a tachometer in clock pod's place?

If anyone has it'll be a great help if you do a quick run down of what you did to hold it in place, fab anything together, screw, glue, double sided tape lol. Just need some ideas here.

yup, thats where I have mine. just removed the clock pod and then bent a piece of 1'' wide metal strap with the ends slightly bent like this --____-- mounted the tach to the plate and used two holes that were already in the dash. then added a piece of black plastic and cloth to cover the hole around the bracket.
