So I had these 'graters laying around and out of sheer boredom I put them on and cant decide if I like them or not. I got 2 other sets of LX's in the garage but wanted some opinions

Keep the cheesegraters on there, and keep 'em the way they are. Makes 'em look tinted without actually losing any light output. I never cared for those painted-to-match tail lenses, myself.
the only reason I even wanted to try them is they have been wrapped up for like 10 years lol and are mint in condition to say the least...As far as painting them, with all the taping work involved, and my ignorance as far as painting skills...not to mention how clean they are, I wanted to keep them clean just in case but they're starting to grow on me
I know it throws up some proverbial "acceptible mustang red flags" but Im kinda diggin it

if this were, say, 1990 and I asked that, I would have probably been hunted down with torches and pitchforks

I don't think they look too bad. They remind me of the SN Saleens, with the blacked out taillight trim.

yup, add some blue pin stripes to match the car and make some cobra tails.

I'm not a fan of the graders, but ithey sure look great on your car. My stang is very similar in color to yours, and I have lx's on it. I'm probably going to switch to the graders, it gives it a meaner look

what color is yours? I bought mine that color and had to rattle can paint the spoiler (obviously as you can see from my painting ignorance) but the closest match was a color called bahama blue lol
If a car is a GT I prefer GT lights as long as...
1. They are the same color of the car.
2. They are in mint condition...no chips and no overspray on lenses.
