well, after endless emails, my sales guy has reluctantly 'offered' to let me out of the order and get my deposit back. it started out with him saying they would keep the deposit and 'call it even, since they should be charging me 5% of the order'
funny thing is, his offer to refund the deposit didn't come until i reminded him that the delivery date promised on the order was 5/1

funny how his tune changed!

i haven't canceled yet, so if anyone is interested, let me know by friday. at this point, i would like nothing more than to screw these guys.
btw - stay away from Heiser Ford in Milwaukee, Shane Rosales is the sales rep.

The car (GT Vert) I passed on yesterday at about 9 am was sold by lunchtime, so I guess the demand hasn't really cooled much. I bet your salesperson has the car sold already for a lot more than you were going to pay.
