I feel bad complaining about it sometimes but it's far and beyond what I used to have. Wish it was insulated, especially this time of year.
But I put a tv in a couple months ago and a couch so I've got a nice place to hang out when it's not 100* at least

Need some garage build threads.
My winter plans include 20A outlets, update the garage door openers, a 220v outlet for a commercial heater, insulate, and drywall.

It had 2 outlets, and 3 light bulbs when we bought our house. People kept some boxes in it otherwise wasted the whole area
I definitely need 220 I don't even have a compressor right now since I want to wait for a big 220 one. As well as for a welder. But it's not going to be capable of running both. I suppose that's no big deal.
Going to possibly remove the bathroom and change it to wash sink type area since I don't use the bathroom and it's got some plumbing problems.
Needs insulated so I can put a window unit in.
Would love a lift in the middle bay but I'm focusing all of that funding towards the car right now.
Wish I had construction skills but my interest and ability with cars just doesn't translate well.
It does the trick for now though. Beats working out of my driveway or the rentals.
Moved the couch and TV over to where the black car is parked.

Tackled a small project on my list and installed a removable steering wheel made by NRG. Much easier to get in and out of the car now and I can mount my seats now that the wheel is in.

I've got the rear support yet to do.
I'm still waiting on the turbo kit with absolutely no ETA. So I'm guessing that means not soon. Everything else kind of hinges on that.

Company is called Huron Speed. They're rolling out a new foxbody kit. I used their Fbody kit on my cobra car and ended up getting along with them pretty well so they're helping me out this time and I'm going to help push their kits as well.
They've got a single T4 and a twin t4 option, so if all goes well I'm planning to do twins
Removed my rear bumper today. Not sure if it was the heat and humidity, the tiny nut/washers in very small areas or my use of a 1/4" drive wrench with about 3 teeth on it but it was absolutely miserable.
I wasn't able to get any pictures for fear of hurling my camera into the neighbors yard.

It's a significant weight off the nose of the car. The core support helps free up some space and Helps mount different radiators and intercoolers as well.
Also most bumpers need the support so they don't cave in at higher speeds so just removing the stock isn't the best choice. Not sure it'll be an issue for me.
The rear I'm thinking about changing simply because I've got it to use. I'm changing the bumpers and ground effects anyways, so at least they're off now I guess

What are the part numbers on this, I like it a lot
It's their 84-04 thin hub, the Gen 2.5 quick release and one of their wheels.
Only mustang specific part is the hub. 174H Is the part number there IIRC. Cheapest and easiest to order off amazon for me.

Yeah that's Blake Holcombs setup he sells. I considered it also, but wanted to retain the key and what not. Thought it might look a little weird with the stock dash stuff.
Only guy I know personally running it has a glass dash
You could use the Grant Hub and wheel on the stock shaft. They're on back order for a good while though.
Pretty sure I reviewed the NRG QR on Amazon. I have it on my race car. I like that it centers itself, which a lot don't. But it gets sticky and difficult to remove after a while. The little button you have to push that sort of wants to pinch your finger as you pull the release just gets worse. It's hard to see in full helmet and hard to find in gloves. Several parts have spit out of mine over the last couple years, springs and clips, but it still works.
I can see why you would pay for some of the better ones, but I think it's pretty good for the money. I want to say it's more of a street scene part than a hard core race part though.

That's probably a fair assessment. The 2.5 doesn't have to push that little button it seems. Well it does but I'm able to lock and unlock the wheel without pushing it directly. Since they've added the flanges on each side you can grab to release the wheel. I guess to combat exactly what you were talking about. I'm terms of long term reliability you'd know better than I. Hopefully it lasts a while.
I did see a lot of "street scene" type cars giving reviews online and it comes in some interesting color combos so you're probably correct there as well
