Moreover, I hate it when these tiny pearls go unnoticed.

If your current CT weren't complexly more appropriate, you'd be wearing the new one. lol
I'm partial to his latest one.

Not many of us can make that claim. And that alone Makes him very special, and deserving of the new tagline.

It should be a contest really,....to see how many perfect one liners we can slip by you.
I'm betting I can get 3 past you by weeks end.

Meh.... The criteria would be arbitrary and I could cheat just by moderating all of your posts. lol

My injectors are on the way from Venezuela. Which is somewhere not in America I'm told.
Only thing holding me up besides free time is wastegate dump tubes. Which I can't for the life of me decide where or how to route them.

Really want this thing to at least be idling next week

Why on earth do your injectors have to come from Venezuela?

They're Bosch injectors but there's a slew of 3rd world countries they ship from

I thought Bosch injectors were made in Germany and China.
It's an LS engine......surely there are domestic suppliers that have that junk sitting on a shelf in poughkeepsie or sheboygan, somewhere that doesn't have a donkey and a cart in part of the tracking history.

I mean,...I have an Australian head. It HAD to come from Adelaide Australia because of that. But I also have Bosch injectors,...and they came from Summit. In Dayton,.......Ohio.

Don't know of any domestic suppliers for the size I bought. Wanted to avoid the 160lb injectors which are plagued with so many problems. I was recommended this supplier so I went with it. I shop Summit pretty requently, have 3 packages coming right now actually (could have saved some shipping there no doubt but Im a poor planner). They pretty much next day deliver to me, and now that they're building a warehouse in TX some of you guys will get to know that wonderful life

More AN fittings....yay

New Trick Flow balancer came in also. Looks, weighs and feels exactly like one I have other than the paint. Guess that answers who makes the Summit Brand balancer.

My injectors on the other hand are being held by US customs at the moment. So there's that.

Guess they didn't find any heroin in my injectors box so these fine units showed up today. DHL asked me where I wanted them delivered so I instructed they be left under the bench on my back deck out of the weather and out of sight.

So they left the box (which consisted mostly of tape from being cut open) on my front porch in the snow. Good stuff.

Also finally tapped and plugged the water pump. Nice to have that off my list.

and finally I got dump tubes for my waste gates. It's not 100% ideal but I can't have come this far to cut into the fender aprons now.
Had to order ev1 to ev14 adaptors for these injectors and tomorrow I've gotta "borrow" a different set of fuel rail brackets to drop the rails down for these super short bodies.

My lower valance will be here tomorrow along with the rest of the turbo oiling fittings. So I'll be able to knock those out and get the downpipes finished.

After that I've got to put the gas tank back in and mount the fuel pump. Swap balancers and hook up the MS3 to the battery.

Then just maybe I can test fire this thing finally. :D

Got a call from FedEx this morning. Something along the lines of "where in the hell is your house?"

Company I bought the valance from flip flopped a couple digits in my zip code and it ended up a few hours too far north. It'll be here Monday now. Maybe.

Spent about 9 hours in the garage today. Seemed a lot longer being as it was 10* outside.
I swapped out the corvette balancer in favor of a correctly spaced Fbody unit. Hopefully get a little money back out of the old one.

Also I finished building the downpipes. I'll have to cut them down to size when I get the bumper on but they came out pretty good.

Then I spent a couple hours with the turbos. Pulled them out and sealed the exhaust flanges, installed the feed and drain fittings, reinstalled the turbos. Wrestling them back in never fails to bring the top shelf curse words out. But at least I can hook up even more hoses in the engine bay now.

Got the engine bay mostly back together. Put the missing T-bolt clamps on the cold side, got clamps for the radiator hoses and went to Oreillys to pick up oil and coolant.

I need to get the fuel tank back in the car so I can mount the fuel pump and run the return line. Then all that will be left is wiring up the engine management.

Going to spend some time where it's warm tonight working on a start-up tune. The nice thing about the Holley setup was the built-in start-up tunes that i was able to use with the SN car. Haven't found anything like that for the MS system though I'm sure they're out there somewhere.

Sloppy mechanics wiki page has a tune cabinet with a schmorgasbord of tunes to pick from.
