Progress Thread Tannerc91gt’s Build(s) Thread

It's ready to fire other than my starter circuit issue.
I've got the wire labeled starter to the small post on the starter and a wire from the coldside of the Ford solenoid to the ECU. But it won't crank with the key. Guessing the ECU isn't seeing the crank signal at all due to my NSS jumper issue.

There are no plugs under the car, everything is up in the drivers wheel well. So until I figure out where this switch is to jump, dead in the water

Crank but no fire. I've got 12v, rpm signal (only 200rpm), a large fuel leak and what appears to be a :poo:load of fuel pressure. Too much fuel pressure. Afraid of washing down the cylinder walls from cranking and cranking so I'm taking a break for the night.

Sounds out of time. Guessing one or both coil harnesses are flip flopped.

I seem to remember Scott @RacEoHolic330 doing the old cylinder wash down thing.

You have made it past step 1.... congrats.

Get all the issues sorted out first, then figure the tune.

Quick question..... eerrr uh many small ones....

Can you post your .msq file, injector size, cid, what type of idle control valve you are using, ect.ect......For review.... I want to see what you are starting with, this way we can prevent any unnecessary :bang:

I'll have to figure out the msq file stuff. I don't know what the hell im doing right now.
I need to take a few steps back and re-read the start up section of the manual.
It's a 325 inch motor, currently has 28lb injectors and the GM IAC.
I know none of that is useful without actually seeing the file.

I flipped one of the coil harnesses and set the fuel pressure closer to 50ish and it sounded better but until I address the fuel leak I have to leave it alone. I set the fuel tps cutoff pretty low trying to keep from repeatedly flooding it at least.
I'm using the file that came on the MS3 ECU. I edited the injector and engine size, cranking rpm to 200 (not even seeing that many rpm), changed the timing in the idle area and can't begin to get the wideband to work so my changes to the idle AFR are a lost cause.

I remember having a hair of trouble firing up the 6 liter but it sprang to life in a matter of minutes with the Holley base tune. I'm guessing this is all a self-inflicted ignition issue.

The transition from cranking to the running table isn't going well. Getting there though. The ignition is lined out I think. It'll start but won't stay running more than 2 seconds.

Having buyers remorse not going with the Holley solely because I'm not good with the data logger

It just won't catch. It's like you're turning the key off. I'm jumpering the starter because I don't have it wired up on the switch yet and as soon as I disconnect the jumper it does. But you can tell it wants to run. Not sure what I've got going on. Almost seems like the fuel pump shuts off. But it's wired directly to the MS3 per instructions. Primes with the key forward.

Lost.

Dude I'll tell you it's frustrating as hell. But chew your way through it because the first time you take it around the block you'll come home and set all 100lbs of your nuts on the work bench because YOU made it do that. Very few other things are more gratifying.
