Raggedy does more in a day than you do,...except for shoveling coal.

You do way better at shoveling coal into a furnace than anybody here...You go... Iowa coal shoveler...Keep the home fires burning.

Ran out of kerosene and argon today. Could live without the kerosene but the argon put me out of commission and trashed a piece of aluminum pipe at the same time.

But I have gotten a few things done the last couple days.
Painted the rear end housing

Built some intercooler brackets and welded the 90* ends on without destroying it, so that’s a bonus. Still up in the air about whether I’ll weld the BOVs to it or not.

Got a portion of the coldside built, was working on the piecuts for the transition into the engine bay when the gas shut off. Will have to start over Monday looks like.

Also got an upper radiator hose built. Need to secure that fan, but it looks like the SBC configuration is going to work out.

It’s coming along. Ready to get this turbo stuff wrapped up.

Turbo kit progress. Lot of time welding aluminum today. A good amount left to do to tie the turbos to the intercooler.
Some welds I’m really proud of and some ones that I’m glad you can’t see lol

But overall happy with it. First coat of paint in the coldside and downpipes, it’s currently15 degrees in my garage so they should be dry in a few days...

Dont feel bad, I have been chasing electrical gremlins that never existed, and adjusting roller rockers for over a month. Basically just getting myself back to where I started.

Just remember......

When I self depricate, it's because I'm letting everybody know that that there's always a first time.

I put pistons in a 428CJ upside down...I put the oil pump pick up so close to the pan floor I had no oil pressure...Hell I've even driven the recent car with spark plugs partially threaded in..

It's a learning curve...

Another busy day.
Dropped the old 8.8 and got the new housing hung up with the new adjustable UCA/LCAs.
Then I built an inboard shock mount and bolted the coilovers in

You seem to have liquidated a lot of parts quickly. How was that experience wading through the knuckle draggers and mouth breathers?

Let me say this. Even now, after having sold the vast majority of it, I regret it.

New front tires showed up today and the wheels should get dropped off tomorrow. Definitely excited about that.
Lost my motivation in the last week or two, easy to get overwhelmed with the to-do list sometimes I guess.

Took an afternoon to clean the garage and it really seemed to help my mental state.

Also I cut the coldside I made to pieces and started over. Which is something I’ll be doing in a couple areas.
Had to flip the intercooler but the piping is now over the turbo and no longer low hanging.

New wheels came in. Going to try and mount them all at home. Would rather just scratch them myself than have yet another tire shop scratch my brand new wheels.

Those are hideous!!! AWFUL!!!

I'm on my way with a pickup truck to get those out of your way so that you can get back to work.

Your welcome.

Got the front runners mounted. Waiting on lug nuts to show up but I like them the more I’m around them.

Fitment on the fox...not so hot.

My boy came out to check them out. He’s all about shiny stuff right now so he was diggin them.

Then a little progress.
