Tasca Ford at NE Dragway 10/5

Thanks and yeah I ran so so, not bad not great. I saw you knocking down some new bests for mph. I would have come by and said hello, but spent a lot of time running around as usual. You guys done racing for the season?

I was hoping to meet up, even if it was only for a few minutes. This time around they didn't call my class until they were ready to race, which meant that I didn't spend all day in the staging lanes (I HATE that). This allowed me to actually watch a lot of racing.:nice: I hope they do that from now on.

Yeah, you ran ET No Box? Ours wasnt too bad, we didnt spend a lot of time in Staging either. Was a nice change of pace. Tech was and always will be a joke, and idk what the deal was chaning credentials.

Either way, I limit the NED days to the few "races' being 3 hours away. I might however do a rental or two there, always a fast track.

I so wanted to be at Tasca racing this year but it did not work out that way. To much left to do on the car that I never was able to get done. Next year will be different.

Hissing what are you cutting for 60' times? I should be in the mid to low 12's once I get the car tuned. It was running 110.67 MPH untuned w/ the new comob the last time I was at epping

Yeah, I was in ET No Box. The tech was a disgrace. I was told to go straight to tech even though I didn't have my race tires installed. I went and waited 20 minutes in line, got my car boxed in and then the tech guy told me that he couldn't tech me in because they weren't installed. I then couldn't move my car because the guy in front of me was at the Credentials booth and when he returned, it was another 15 minutes of waiting because he had to have his buddy go and get a booster to start his car. I argued with the tech guy and asked him what the difference was if they were installed vs. not being installed. He wouldn't answer. While this was going on, my friend Brian got his car teched in with, you guessed it, his race tires in the back seat. What a disgrace.

Why can't they keep every tech guy at the front of the line and force them to stay there? If they did this, it would make it easier for everyone involved and would prevent people from leaving their cars or having large, empty spaces in the tech lines. If they stayed up front, they could tech them in or out in minutes. Once they've been teched in, the driver moves his car out of the way and then goes to credentials. If they don't pass tech, they're instantly gone. The lines would move freely and it would avoid the cluster that they bring on by themselves. There's no direction there whatsoever.

They really should have it split up, each tech guy gets two lanes. Stands at the front. You drive to him, he techs, you leave, he techs the guy in the front of the other line while the first line of cars moves forward... Is that really hard to figure out? I mean, this isnt surgery people, this is a damn straight line of cars with nowhere to go.

Unreal how absolutely retarded they are that track!
