alright everyone i got my new wheels on,summit shipped them next day,i love em.pics soon! but next i will have to do something about that 75 mm tb!will a mas air sensor help or just a smaller tb? and mas?wut size, brand?also are fuel injectors worth it?24 lbs?the car has o/r h pipe and 40 series flows with stock manifolds and the 75mm tb is this hurting the car? help soon!thanx everyone

75mm TB is a tad bit overkill, but not hurting the car performancewise. Otherwise I'm sure someone can help you with a size setup.

I would say get a 65 MM throttle body, unless you plan on getting alot of upgrades in the near future.

if you are running a 75 on a stock intake, you are really hurting velocity with it hitting the small entry port on the intake

hell even the aftermarket intake adapter is 70 mm and would need to be port matched to the 75

I agree that a 75mm tb is hurting the air velocity when your engine
sucks in the air so,a 75mm tb is pretty much overkill unless forced
induction comes into play.I say for N/A the biggest throttle body I
would run is a 70mm tb nothing bigger unless your running a power adder.
See with what torque you are lossing on the bottom end with your
75mm tb you are gaining hp in the high rpm's on top end everywhere else your losing torque so,I would say that's really the only thing hindering
your performance I would say.

NOt a TAD BIT.... A LOT..and it IS hurting performance with that setup. Even stock with that is ok, but 65 is alright and you can still grow with it.

Look on this board and see who runs a 75mm or higher.

the ford racing 65mm throttle body is one of the best deals out there, it comes with all the sensors and wiring already attached so you dont have to use your old sensors, you just bolt it up an plug it in and your done.

also....on a stock engine would the 65mm throttle body help me at all or hurt me?

The 95 Cobra R did (to feed the 351) but the regular Cobras got 60mm.

alright thanx for the help im probably going to go with a 65mm either bbk or ford and possibly a c&l maf.would that help much?are the maf worth it?

I think $$$ spent on tb & maf when first starting to do mods is not $$$ well spent cause they don't give very big power gains.

If your going to do the whole bolt on thing anyway I would put the $$$ toward the heads & cam first. Then if on a budget, install the other stuff as $$$ allows, like inj's & maf, intake, headers, etc.

You can do pretty good with some of the stock parts

See the sig, STOCK tb, maf, catback plus ignition

Very true. I did my MAF last, well after my H/C/I swap, and I did not detect any change with my SOTP meter, nor with the TwEECer logging. The stock MAF can flow quite a bit.
