Not sure. I think it is normal. I have known several people with my setup and they all have it. Its only when the throttle body first opens...other than that it sounds fine.

I have no idea. I have checked over and over again for a leak anywhere and there is no leaks. I have checked all my vaccuum lines and nothing. The only explanation I can think of is something internal with the throttle body.
I installed a Dragon plenum and it whistled upon acceleration, especially around 2000 rpms. I contacted Dragon, and they said that this was common for their plenums. It seems that the divider inside the plenum causes the whistling when it splits the air flow. I found the noise to be annoying so I returned the plenum to Dragon. I then ordered an Accufab plenum and haven't had any problems.
You could also try re-positioning your inlet pipes. Move them in/out a little to change the length of the air travel. I even turned my maf a little to change the position of the sensor inside. This finally helped me with my whinning noise.

Smart Move!!!
I've heard a lot of people complain that the TFS and the Dragon elbows whistle. To me, that's just poor engineering / design.
The Accufab doesn't make any weird noises.
