Just bought a TCI 3500 stall for my AOD transmission. I can not get it completely in place. The housing tube where input shaft goes is 1/2 inch longer then original. According to TCI this isn't my issue. Part number is 433300.
It recommends changing the input shaft but this is for strength only I guess. I worked 2 hours on it last night with no luck getting it to go in place, any help would be great.

change the input shaft as per TCI

here is your answer. Did you not do any research before buying this?
Why are you installing this converter- what is your setup? 3500 stall is high for a street car.
My 90 vert makes over 500 hp and I run a TCI 2800-3000 stall that bolted right up
