About a limit of rpm and how the application makes a difference
We all know more serious applications usually will mean higher limits
But ... since most here are focused around a street application
We got mostly daily driver and weekend toy applications
Allow me to speak from a perspective of a Stock or OEM Stang
and
Since we got a lot of members who have NO or Little combo experience

Lets consider the OEM Stang experience
It starts to peter out W A Y before 6K
To be a bit more specific
I dug up info on a couple of typical Stangs to show the starting point
A stock Fox GT Stang with t5 trans reached peak tq@3200 & hp@4200
Heck Fire ... A 94 bolt on Cobra with pulleys, OR pipe, and shortys could
only muster peak tq@4000 & hp@4700
So you see
The power band is really narrow on an unmodified 5.0 Stang
This is one of those perspective kind of things :Word:
If you build a combo that will pull to mid 5K or 6K .....
You've extended the power band by a substantial amount
You really don't have to rev to the moon with a Street Car application
to make a N O T I C E A B L E improvement
Also ... if you custom tailor the band with an emphasis NOT on peak
Well ... I guess that would be another time and thread
Anyway ... something to think about
