We will see...Tenn and Cal play tonight.Stop it LSUs road schedule is not hard at all. Saying a lower SEC team will pose a challenge is like saying Illinois will pose much of a threat to Michigan. In all conferences the low teams all stink, SEC included. There is no question that the SEC has better teams in the top of the conference but dont tell me that Ole Miss, Miss State, or Vandy are worth a hoot. Kentucky is supposedly better this year but hasnt been much, well ever.
And I'm not saying USC isn't a bad team either...just not the team ESPN tries to make them out to be.I am certainly not trying to knock LSU because they are an awesome team, but people constantly bash USC and say they are a weak team. Well I argue that their record over the past several years including home, away, conference, non-conference, bowl games, etc is a pretty good indicator that they are a great program and imo over the last 5-6 years by far the best consistantly.
Maybe you should try and go play a good team at their stadium like USC, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Michigan do. Of course it all comes down to money but you dont think that a home and away series against say Michigan wouldnt get some $$ your way, your TV revenue would be huge.
You said Michigan....
We played Virginia Tech in Blacksburg a few years ago and there are talks with Oklahoma to schedule home and away with them. The problem is the AD can't seem to get teams to want to play here. We had an open in 2009 to schedule USC in one of their opens and they balked.
After watching VT struggle against East Carolina I say we hang 31 on them. It's going to be ugly thats for sure. So much for the challenge.

BIG BLUE
....that was the worst first half of football they have ever had. They finally have a stacked coaching staff but NO TALENT! If Bowden doesn't do better, he will be pushed out the door
