Very well written. I'm in agreement on the Camaro. Something is just missing. I think the biggest thing is that passion. For all the eccentricities of our beloved foxes, there's something that stirs the soul when that 5.0L engine stretches its legs. I just don't have the same feeling when it comes to the F-Body and I think a lot of people share in that sentiment. Think about it. If you just listen, you can tell a Mustang. Be it a 5.0 or a 4.6 or even the new 3-valve. It has a very distinct sound that you simply can not get anywhere else.

I'm proud to be a part of this 20-MPG slice of Americana. I wouldn't trade it for the world.

Great piece of writing, I think you nailed it. Whats interesting is that the market for 80's and 90's Camaros seems dead, at least around here.
