Well folks it finally happened. i watched the stang roll down the road. I wasn't looking to sell it but a deal popped up on a 97 GT and i did a ton of research and went with it. I know he probably made out better on it than i did but i was growing old of the Fox and its million little issues that they are known for. As soon as the weather breaks i'll get some pics up, but i wanted to tell all the many 5.0ers that i have met and that have helped me, thanks!! Ill be on the 4.6 side now but at least its still in the family.

here is the ol girl that left

sorry guys. i hated to do it but after taking a good inventory of what it would take to get the car to where i want it, i feel like i am better off with a newer stang. Besides the 97 came with a slew of parts and i already have some 18x9, 18x10 black saleen's on the way.

saleen wheels are sexy. 4.6s :notnice:
good luck with the new car though

I can't say I fault you, the temptation is strong sometimes. Fix the link of the new car pic so we can see what you're working with. Don't let anyone here give you a hard time, a Mustang is a Mustang.

Pic of the new car doesn't seem to work, but a good running SN95 beats out even the nices Fox if its becoming problematic.

In which case...good trade. :nice:

It seems like we can go weeks without hearing from you, and then as soon as someone mentions "mod motor" you come out of nowhere and post.

+1 to both.

I'm here everyday, get used to it. ;)

And since reading comprehension doesn't seem to be your strong suit, I'll break it down for you. I wasn't lurking in the shadows to promoting the "mod motor" like you're implying, I was simply reaffirming his decision (since many here seem to be shunning him for it) to replace one car that was starting to to become problematic, with another one that wasn't. The fact that it was an SN95 was purely coincidental and completely his decision. So please.....feel free to get over it! If you wish to troll my posts, why not look into the ones where I speak about the 5.0L if that makes you feel any better? There are plenty of them out there.

I hope this explanation was satisfactory. If not, anything further that you might wish to discuss on this matter can be directed to my PM box and not launder out in open Forum.

Let’s attempt to say somewhat on track here gentlemen. No need to completely ruin the O/P's thread by steering it off topic, because one member took it upon himself to do so out of some sense of misplaced pride. ;)
