Gotta warn ya though, I have been pulled over already - yup, doing 30 in a 50 zone. "Nice car sir. We're just checking to see if it's stolen...."

You got pulled over in "Aylmer" ? God, I had forgotten how mine is so loud...Still very surprised that I didnt get pulled over last summer...Oh oh...need some wood to touch ASAP.

I still have your number so I'll give you a shout tomorrow or so...Not sure if I still have Jim's numbers (unless he changed them) but I'll try to reach him as well.

BTW "got to find wood to touch" is real gay to say in English "Knock on wood" is the saying. I don't do this very often but the guys in the other forums would have a field day lol

I got pulled over too on Monday morning ... in Longueil though. The officers approached the car and asked me for my papers and to step out of the vehicule.

The 2 *fine* officers were sure to do a full caivity search of my pony. Nothing like sitting on the hood of a cruiser with 2 cops rumaging through your car on a Monday morning in rush hour. Interior, engine compartment, under carriage and trunk. 30 mins of inspection.

When they were done I asked them what they were looking for. The *fine* officer replied " Our system says your car is supposed to be red ... we were making sure it wasn't stolen. Why is it black ? " to which I replied " Show me in your Code book the section to it being illegal to paint a car a different color ". I told him the car was repainted by the previous owner and all he had to do was ask and I would've been happy to open the trunk and show him the red paint behind the covers ... would been a little less embarrassing.

My story for the week ... sorry to hijack the thread.

it's not illegal,
but legally you have to correct the information on your ownership.
