Pro tip: Instead of catch cans, just leave the front and rear intake gaskets off to allow the motor to vent freely.Gaskets are just a money grab, it would have been fine

Transparent aluminum,......Why they don't use that in all of the giant aquariums across the US is beyond me. After all, we've had the recipe for that stuff since Scotty left it for us in 1985.

It actually fit, it's just that where the collector sat in relation to the turbine housing placement in relation to the A/C lines, alternator, and radiator was never gonna work. So the downward angle of the shorty header I had waiting on the shelf works better in this case.

But, there's more to "fit" than just fitting in the box. (all stuff I'm sure that you are now all too painfully aware)
Building a header is a bit ch, especially when you gotta do it one little splice at a time, and now don't have the luxury of being able to hold the joint w/ one hand, and pop a tack on with the other.
You have to know what to edit, and what not to post. If I knew that there was a I told you so Vulture sitting out there just waiting to swoop down on my dead ass,.... I'd probably wait till I solved the issue before posting progress of it.
But,....because I'm such a nice guy too.....

Short term - in front of the front tire.How are you planning to run the exhaust?
Turn that turbo around and save yourself some square footage. Running a DP across the engine bay f*cks up all the accessories routing and clearances. I'd avoid it if I could.Short term - in front of the front tire.
Long term - it will go down and outboard of the frame rail, come back in through the K member and straight back to the cat back. Similar to Raceoholic's DP.

Unless it doesn't fit your long term goals. Even in that case I'd turn it 90* and forward face the turbo
