Got my fuel system to stop leaking, set the cam sync, and with little trouble, I got my tuning lap top fired up and connected to my MS.
Now, I just need spark plug wires, fluids, and a few more small wire connections. I’m very, VERY close to making this thing run.

I've got a dude who's trying to get me to throw out a price for my car.
Without risk of offending me, where would you value my coupe, assuming it was running and driving without any mechanical issues? I was guessing between $8-9K on a good day. What do you think?

People are crazy in that you never know that they may just pay it.
I wasn't going to give him a number. He's try to haggle from there and I don't want to have that conversation.
8k would probably buy mine, and it's not as nice as yours. Realistically, if your car was ironed out with no issues, I would think 10k is the max I would pay as a buyer. As a seller, I would start at 15k.

LOL. it's not going anywhere. I finally tracked down the plug wires I need, but they're $105. $100 or more and I generally tell the wife about it. That means it might take a little while.... haha
I feel your pain.... I just told the wife i spent $600 on a custom cam and other misc item i needed including a new WB. She also found out that i still have to shell out the almost 1k for the machine work....

Seriously, you don't ask for a price because you weren't selling! What if he offers you $15k? It's gone! Mine... I had a guy see my garage open about a week ago and yell out of his truck window asking how much. I told him it's not for sale but everything has a price, make me an offer. He asked a few questions about mods, and quickly figured out it was going to be out of his price range. Mine needs paint and body something fierce, but outside of that (once I finish putting my fuel tank back on) it's mechanically SOUND with tons of upgrades. Your dream price might be my floor cause I'd have a damn hard time recreating my build for that amount. That's what I base the price on when it's not for sale... what would it take to build it again (knowing what you know now).

I was just pondering what I would sell mine for while dicking with those stupid 3" Flowmaster tails. I never came up with an answer, because Ive already dumped more money into it than what its worth to an average Joe.
I was able to sneak out for a little while this weekend.
- I assembled the rest of the exhaust
- I completed the oiling system and filled it up
- I built a spark plug wire and installed it. I'm not certain it's going to work, it doesn't seem to "click" into place on the coil. But, I need to look into it a bit further.
From there, I charged the battery and rolled it over a few times with the plug out of the cylinder to see if I had any spark, and the answer is no. Time to start the process of elimination. I'll post the tune file tonight.

Ls coils? They use a 5v trigger no need for an ignitor circuit. I am interested how you set them up.

I am using spark A-D 5v circuits to fire them. I'm somewhat certain I modded the board correctly. From what I could tell, all that was needed was to add the 5v pullup resistors to the ALED and WLED circuits. The only other thing I did internally was add jumpers to the adapter board. For the harness, I used emissions wires that I was no longer using as my spark outputs and made my own harnesses from there to the coils. the signal circuit is grounded with the rest of the 5v sensors back to the computer. I pulled the 12v feed from something else that wasn't used anymore and then grounded the coils to the block.
one thing I didn't see what any input for the cam sync in TS. I'm sure that's built in though, I used one of the wires in the TFI harness for that. I'll have to check my diagram when I get home, I don't remember exactly what I did.
No need for the cam sync.... you are not running sequential injection or ignition all of it is wired wasted (batch)... this will solely rely on the crank sensor.
You can test fire the coil outputs.... test light or noid to check 5v from ECU, or just fire them and see if you get spark from the coil. You can even choose an rpm ect.... this can/will rule out the ignition outputs as the issue. Running an ignition/composite log will allow you to see the trigger wheel input while cranking.
Oh, awesome. Glad I spent $175 on one then, haha. Good for future tinkering with sequential I guess.

I've had people do the exact same thing to me, hang their head out a truck window and yell at me to sell them my car. Unless someone with more money than sense offered me dream-car money for it, I don't think I could ever sell. No one is likely to ever offer me as much money as what I have in it, and beyond that, nobody will EVER offer me enough to cover the 16 years of time I have in this car. Part of that is just me being sentimental, but part of it is also that, if tomorrow, I had no car and $15K in my pocket, I would probably set out to more or less build the exact same thing that's sitting in my garage right now.

Coolant lines - check
Fuel system - check
Massive leaks when you prime the system - check check
I've also taken the apathetic approach to assembly in that I am just going to get it all together how it was and get it running/driving. Once we get there, I can rearrange routings and finish coating the nitpicky BS as I go since that stuff makes good afternoon type projects. Running/driving is priority though.
That's not apathy, that's spring fever. I get that way every year at about this time- figure out what the bare minimum is to get it road worthy, just so I can drive it.
