Well it sure looks pretty in there.

It started right up, sounds good so I let it warm up so I could verify that the tape deck really works. It does.
Now I need to pull it out so I can give it a quick wash to carry on with my paint correction.

You don't have enough stuff to trade for my newly acquired cobra intake, remember, it come with a car attached, and that car has a magic top, that's what my younger grandkids called my other vert.

That looks really nice! If its still the Accufab TB on there, I would leave it. Blends right in, and Im willing to bet helps the car run smoother than a stock TB.

That intake looks great.

Back to the Cobra wheels... Do they really weigh 30 lbs, or is that number just for the replica ones?

I wouldn’t doubt it, they are a “meaty” wheel.

Much better! Modified the stock loom holders a bit to accept the larger size wires.

I do have a cover for it, but it needs the be trimmed up a bit. Lots of left over bits from when it was molded.

Haven’t done much lately, been out enjoying it! One thing that has been bothering me was the shift boot. Just didn’t like how it fit.

So I took it out and found this.

At least it’s not just duct tape! Came off easily enough.

Don’t think it’s a stock shifter in there, I can feel stops through the boot.

There is the finished product! I know lots of people have them, but for me coming from classics, it’s feels like home.

I put one in my car as well. I used the stock bezel, but like the rubber boot and long handle.
