I did once. I had to break loose the u-joint bolts from the axle pinion flange. I think I was at 180 psi, but it didn't blow up the impact gun on me.

i trained on haas, but the last two shops ive been in have been okuma, which are a lot more rigid than the haas mills i ran in school and the programming and setup are almost identical except for how they call offsets. afaik the only controllers out there that are weird are the mazak and hurco (conversational machines), most everything else is either built by or modeled after fanuc.Same here.
