Hum, with the engine in the way?I did-after I found the rot and before I hit it with a hammer lol. It really didn’t look like it was all they way through and the outside was solid and covered in factory coating. Next time I’m in the garage I’ll snag a pic...
What course of action should I take here Dave?
Wire wheel it, rust converter, light sanding and POR15 if the metal is solid.
Jesse James sucks. Anybody that would fool around on Sandra Bullock is a testimonial to that.what a flaming wad of goo.Dig'n the West Coast Choppers sticker! Jesse James ftw!
Oh, and the car is getting there, really need to get this garage thing done so I can work on my cobra intake!
Well.... That WCC sticker is vintage NOS stock, circa 2001-02. So I can safely say I’m repping old school WCC when he was cheating on one of the other wife’s
Ohhhhhhhh, I know I am, but what are you?Yea, dave. Your vintage!
It’s “you’re”.Yea, dave. Your vintage!
Maybe he was referring to my vintage birthdate? It’s “you’re”.
Haven’t seen a Fram AirHog filter in stores for several years now-Snagged this one off eBay

Alright guys, not a lot of progress to report from this weekend-I spent most of my time winterizing my yard equipment-stashing my motorcycle project into a dark corner of the garage.along with the 4 wheeler project lol. And getting my winter ride back into the land of the living
Also-a little reminder to what an idiot I am. When I took the headers off,I pulled the dipstick tube out,as not to break it(again)
Do you think I put it back in? The answer is No-No I didn’t. And that means there is a bunch of oil in the garage floor now :-(

I meant to reply to you sooner, but I easily get distracted. There’s kinda a story about that battery charger. I bought it for my Dad on his birthday when I was a Junior/Senior in high school (‘02/03’) and he had it in his garage, until he passed in 2012, it’s one of the many tools I inherited. And it’s one of the things I don’t know if I’d ever upgradeHappy Birthday !
Looks like a little exhaust work going on. I've got that same battery charger. That thing has been working for almost 20 years.
Always loved the Dakota and Durango R/Ts of that era. If the Dakotas could have been had in 4wd I would have owned one a long time ago for a winter vehicle.
