Well after a leave of absence, a slight return, another leave and now this I am back at it again. My fire was rekindled by a buddy of mine at work. He always heard me telling stories of my old stangs and street racing. Well he approached me with a project. He has a 94 GT bone stock with only 70K on it. At first I was uneasy about it because of how I ended up, but after careful considreation I took on the task of making him have a fast car.

The first projects will be easy, underdrive pulleys, smog bypass and an H pipe. After that comes the CAI and Throttle body. Then we are gonna get hot and heavy with it. Starting with Intake, injectors and a MAF. Those mods alone will push the limits of 13.99 But I was not going to say that and be that hopeful. So I told him we would be near 14.5. This way he thinks we are doing alot better than we should be. So in the near future I will be Posting pics and times of the car as we do stuff. Lets hope to keep track. I will also be making as many passes on the track as he will. But I am a little out of practice. For gods sake I drive a civic, my grandma passes me on the interstate. :owned:

what does this mean? maybe i'm too new for you man... welcome back i guess.

He put a carb and X cam in a OBD computered car.

Welcome back man! I'll have you know a few weeks ago I visited some college buddies of mine and we drank a crap load of Miller High Life's. The bottle label still says "Champagne of Beers." I had no idea. Now that you know what not to do, install some bolt on's and have fun again.

Stangboy- No man i never called, heck I live over in Mobile now. I would love to go back to the track soon though.

SLY!!!!!!!!! Well we keep in touch for the most part so heres the latest I have.

He lives in North Carolina around Asheville has a 02 Trans Am WS6 that he says runs like 10's or something. He sold the 351 we built and sold his lightning and he builds this website for some LS1 place and they send him parts and upgrades for near nothing. Thats what I gathered from our last conversation.

Yeah I went all carb and stuff and well it didnt quite turn out like it was supposed to. Actually it was broke before I even made it that far. It just went sour, ended up selling an awesome engine that was doing 12's in the car for $1500. I know I was :owned:

Yeah, I'd love to get to the track again soon too. I'm kinda anxious to see what my car will run with the freshly build motor. But i still need a radiator and some O2 sensors. So hopefully I'll have a new radiator before Christmas so I can get to the track. I'll have the O2 sensors this week.

Killer- I see your pushing the threshold of FAF!(fast as *****) Still no pwer adders is what I like to see man. I was an all engine guy so I know. My music is going great. Im playing regular shows and stuff. Hoping for that dare to be great situation.

Craig man we need to hit it up. They changed to Tuesday nights over there for the regular race. Me and my buddy made it there last tuesday for the preliminary run on his car before we started installing stuff. But, I missed all the good events they have this year when I moved to mobile.

I haven't been out there since a week before last Christmas when I broke an axle. I was trying to make it to Ford vs. Chevy but I was working on my car and I didn't finish until that Sunday evening. As soon as I get another radiator and a couple other little things I need I'll be going to see what my car runs with the frsh motor. I'm expecting low 13s but my friends seem to think my car will run 12s. I don't know about that just yet but we'll see soon enough.
