brought my srt-4 out with my dads lightning and had a lot of fun on the track going back n forth ( me with bolt ons running about 18psi and dad was pullied with tune on diablo ).

that same night a yellow srt-10 truck was talking smack and got blown away ( i wish i had that video or the picture of all 8 lightings facing off with the srt-10 ).

and all this lightning talk is making me regret not getting any of the lightnings/harley davidsons i saw before i got the fox lol!

Maximum Motorsports C/C plates are relatively cheap and very, very high quality. Highly recommended.

edit: Guy beat me to it.

update... brought the stock timing cover into work today to bead blast it and clean it up... lemme tell ya what... this blows... the lip at the top of it for the water pump holds dirt very well down in the corners. and that grayish green coating on it (dont think its a powder coat its to thin i think) is a pain to get off. not as bad as the powder coat on the stock intake plate but it still sucks. but the dirt and oil build up in that front lip is killing me!

Pretty much from november to end of feb I run mine with the fan off. Doesn't get close to over heating. I've got the higher tstat in for heat and as long as I don't sit and idle forever it's just fine.

updates...

it runs... have ZERO voltage off the TPS signal wire... gunna try a different meter tonight to see if my old cheap meter is the cause.

but it idles nice at around 900rpm... want to get it down around 650-750 range.

have the inner fenders out right now cleaning up the surface rust and painting flat black. i'll get some pictures tonight. still have to mount my puke tanks. electric fans should be here tonight and i'll get them in next week or so. not in a rush there its to cold to even worry about driving it. next month ill order the intake then the nitrous kit
