my new 351 has a summit racing balancer that reads 40 degrees off of top dead center. i called summit and they told me to send it back, it must have slipped on the ring, after talking w/393bird i checked on different timing tabs on 351s. GOOD THING! not only did ford use ore than one different tab on the 351 they used3!!! i should be on the road tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!

THANKS 393 YOU SAVED MY A$$.

All you had to do was mark 0 then use a timing analyzer from sears (the one with the dial. That is what I had to do. I bough the same balancer (if yours is the SFI version). Never thought to recheck the pointer. The white line I made on mine is reference enough.

that blower makes up for the cam. forced induction moves alot more air past the valve inthe the same amount of time as a n/a motor.
its all a matter of choice and $$$$$
