ok... lastnight i ran my best in the 1/8th with my current setup. before the underdrives an fan the combo put down 260hp/ 295 ft. lb. an my best run was an 8.8 with a suspension problem from hell... Fixed the suspension an ran a 8.43 last night. So the question is if i get my heads and intake ported along with say a tfs stage 1 cam think i could break 300 rwhp?? Shooting for a 7.99 n/a!!!

well the shortblock has been balanced an blue printed then reassembled with all arp bolts with all forged internals so its gonna be boosted by next march hopefully... hoping to put down around 420 at the wheels with a sc trim???

Yea it should be no problem. there are a lot of guys on here with 300 N.A. I am 25 hp away with my combo. I dynoed it but never had a fuel/air done with it so. I don't know how rich or lean it is. Car made 277rwhp/313.tor

I just change to an 80 mm mass air meter and the car feels to run better with it over the C&l. But the 277/313 was made with this combo all parts not ported.

stock short block,edelbrock heads 1.90 valves,b-303cam,1.7 rockers,cobra intake,65mm t.b.,C&L 73 mass air meter,24Lb injectors,Paxton fuel presseruse regulator,17*of timming,K&N cone filter,1 & 5/8 Mac long tubes,prochamber H-pipe,& Mac dumps,pulleys,msd6al,master blaster coil,Ist air adjuster.

300RWHP N/A is a cake

Hell theres ppl pulling 330 RWHP N/A with stock driveability

AFR185's, holley systemax, custom cam, supporting mods your well over 300RWHP

go all trickflow Components (including cam) box stock everything with a TFS stage 2 cam and you got 300 or more at the wheels

its not a rare accomplishment

I don't know about you guys...but I really had to work for 300RWHP...it's not as easy as one thinks when going with a small setup...sure you can get a huge intake and big heads but if you are limited to resources and $$$ it's harder than it seems...With stock ported heads...you will not get 300RWHP...If you pick up 20RWHP with those heads that's about it...The TFS 1 cam will not pick up tons of HP over the E-cam...maybe 5RWHP if that...You have to get the E7's flowing...if you want to acheive max numbers you would need to change the valves and possibly get a valve job...

there not stock heads... there world products windsor jr's.... and although aluminum heads would be nice, im 17 an pay for every damn thing including my car... so i was just going to have my heads ported with a 3 angle valve job an my intake ported as well... like i said above the combo made 260 at the wheels before pullies an electric fan... i shaved over .45 seconds off my fastest 1/8th mile pass along with a few suspension items so i know the car is close to 275 at the wheels now...

I made 272 @ the wheels on unported E7s (larger valves), stock cam, and an unported Cobra intake, with the rest of the bolt ons. I also did this with all the accessories hooked up, after driving 30 mins to the dyno! Id be more worried about track times, all the power out there does nothing when the tires are spinning!!!

Raise your compression and you will make 300rwhp+ with a good H/C/I combo on a 306. Dont let anyone tell you that you will need an expensive custom cam or a certain set of heads to accomplish your goal. My car made 323rwhp/346rwtq with a 306 10:5:1 edelbrock heads 1.90/1.60 with minor bowl work, comp cam xe270 and a TFS street heat intake. Its all about what parts work well together and of course tuning.

the XE270 and the street heat are quite a bit better than an e-cam and a gt40 setup.

Windsor Jr's have 58cc chambers. Raising the CR wouldn't take much. A cam change alone would probably put you near or over 300. I made 280 with my old setup and that was with the stock TB.

well i should probably shut up, but i have stock 302 heads with oversized valves, 5 angle valve job, stud mount 1.6 proform roller rockers, all new seals, comp cam dual valve springs (rated for an F-cam-not sure lift)

if those are better then waht you have, and wanna buy them, i'll have no problem selling them to you for dirt cheap..

Yeah, you should shutup...J/K dude :D IMO the Windsor Jr's are a lot better than any stock head could ever hope to be. Even with the bigger valves, the runner volume is still to constricting. Plus the Jr's have a much smaller combustion chamber. Kind of you to offer though.
